Putting the New Zealand Disability Strategy into Action

This workshop assists staff to get a better understanding of the New Zealand Disability Strategy (NZDS), the implications of the strategy for their work and how to implement the strategy on a day to day basis.

A range of topics are discussed:

• An overview of the strategy.
• The NZDS objectives and actions relevant to the staff participating in the training.
• How workshop participants currently implement some of the NZDS objectives and actions.
• New ideas for implementing the strategy.
• Practical solutions and examples for putting the strategy into action.
